			<title>Looking for Help with Unlocked Tour 9630 and Browser</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I recently won a 9630 tour from the Uteck Bowl(Halifax), since i am already on a 2yr contract with rogers and the phone was bell; i got it unlocked. However because of this(I assume) I have no ability to use the web browser functionality of the phone(or any data-dependent functions-inc. mms) as of yet.<br />

For added info:<br />
This is my(My S.O. has one that I've used many a time) first BB so I'm a little unsure of a few things.<br />
I'm running software v4.7.1.40<br />
The phone's original carrier is Bell Canada<br />
The phone was never activated by Bell(still has &quot;Activation Required&quot; status message at top of home screen)<br />
After being unlocked i have full text(SMS only) and call functionality<br />
<br />
<br />
Here are the problems which do not allow me to do so:(I think, correct me if I'm wrong please.)<br />
1.  The Service Book is empty. The 9630 is not a phone offered by rogers and therefor has no Phone-Specific Service Book entries. I have been pointed by a few threads to follow the guide here:<br />

<br />
2.  I am not able to create a Rogers BIS account on the the associated BB site here: <br />

<br />
Any insight as to whether number 1's guide will work or a solution to number two would be greatly appreciated.<br />

p.s. Please excuse the crude URL(s) as I realize i should have to contribute a bit before being able to post URL(s) and i plan to. However this is a significant problem for me and i was looking to get help A.S.A.P.</div>

When I recieved the new blackberry bold 9700 the &quot;c&quot; key was not working I would press down on it and it would do nothing at all. I went into the Rogers store and he had told me to call Rogers and get them to send me another one. So I had called Rogers rep told me wait 3 - 5  business days which was fine! After a month and half and calling everyday I recieved another blackberry bold 9700. When I had opened it up and tested the keyboard out AGAIN this time the &quot;L&quot; key was not working. So I went into the rogers store and again had them to take a look to see if maybe it was me he spent like half of a hour taking a look doing somethings to it! no luck. SOO I had to call rogers again, the rep who was a total *** who was perty much implying its my fault and that i'm breaking the phone! Didn't offer my anything for all of this! So I had called back again tonight and again no offer on anything AND told me to call ups for a pick up for the first one and to go to a rogers store and pick one up there! Has anyone had any problems with there keyboard??</div>

Ive had phones with telus and bell and I have to say that the customer service is pretty good with rogers, Ive had calls to me to from rogers to change a few things and save me some money and then a survey afterwards.  Ive had several issues and good help everytime,  where I am service with the other 2 werent that good. There are also a few areas where Im at that the service is just not there so obviously this is a problem with all carriers. <br />

Id like to hear some other peoples pros and cons with rogers!</div>
