Could I switch my phone out for one?

Had to go to the repair store to get a replacement trackball for my Curve 8330. I also had to make some changes to my plan, so when they resent my service books, I got an icon that say "Downloading Updates" When I saw it I was all excited so I clicked it and it actually takes you to a link to the BIS page. The kicker is that the page that it takes you too, looks exactly like the one that you have in OS 5.0. Has anybody noticed this?

well, the @messaging.sprintpcs.com worked perfect but it has to be done by email, do you guys know any website just where you enter the phone# and message and just send
thanks

So I've read several threads discussing not being able to text while on a call. I am on the Sprint network and I have a Curve 8330. From what I've read its kinda hit or miss which seems to be true because that's the case with me. Sometimes I can text up to 25 mins into a phone call and other times I can't. I contacted Sprint about this issue and was told that you cannot text while on a call with the Curve. Does anyone know if this is a known issue ONLY with the curve or is it the Sprint network itself? Is anyone else on the Sprint network with a BB other than the Curve experiencing this problem? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Since the update over a week ago, I have not used the navigation. Yesterday, I went to finally use it and the icon is no longer on my screen.

This might be a stupid ?, but is there a way of getting it back? It is listed in my applications, but it's NOT in bold print like the Sprint TV.

I mainly use the navigation for searching phone numbers for businesses when I am in my car. So, I hope there is someway of getting the icon back on my screen and the app works.

TIA for all the help! :)

I recently closed my sprint account which had two 8330's on it. The account is completely closed and the bill has been paid in full...confirmed $0 balance.

I have called CS several times and gotten different answers, the most recent of which I believe is correct but I wanted to ask here to verify, so here goes.

Do I need to do anything else to get the ESN's released to sell the phone? The most recent rep told me that they would always be attached to my account until they are activated on someone else's account. He said just to make sure, he successfully added one of the phones to another account and then took it right back off.

I just dont want to end up having to refund anyone after a sale is complete.

Okay I signed up for a youmail account for my voicemail service. And on my blackberry I did *28 and the number they gave me with youmail. I am not liking youmail and would like to go back to my sprint voicemail. When I do *28(my own sprint cell number) it errors out and says involved code. Does anyone know how to get me back to my sprint voicemail. I have tired #28 and *280 to get the forwarding to stop and go back to sprint voicemail but both of those say involved code. I have called Sprint customer service and advanced tech support many times to change it back and each time I tell them I did the busy no answer forwarding on *28 please fix it and each time they go what are you talking about all we have is *72 at .20 cents a call nothing else.

So fellow crackberrians do you know of a way to get me off this youmail thing since Sprint seems to be no help at even knowing there own system. :(

I am totally confused at this point.

I paid my account balance, $135.22, in full on 10/24 (which was the due date for the bill). I accidentally paid the same amount on 11/3 not remembering that I had already paid it. I did this because the sprint website said I still had a balance for $135.22 so I made the payment. Turns out, the balance on the website was for the next billing period, and it just happened to be the exact same amount for two months.

I called customer service to see if I could get a refund for the early payment and they told me no and said that it would just be applied to the next bill.

I cancelled my sprint account a few hours after all of that (on 11/3) because i switched to VZW. I had fulfilled my contract so no ETF. When I cancelled, the rep I spoke to said I would receive a refund and it would be processed and paid out at the end of the month.

I just got off the phone with Sprint CS and am beyond upset at this point. I was escalated to a supervisor who told me that my balance was $0.00. He said the payment I made on 11/3 (for the bill due on 11/24) was for activity between 10/01 - 10/31. I asked about Sprint billing a month in advance initially (that first bill is always huge) and he told me "They have to do that to get you in the system." I asked how I could not possibly have a refund if I had paid my bill every month as due and he told me, "They have to bill you for more than a month to get you in the system, but you won't receive a refund."

How can a company charge you for 13 months but only give you 12?

Sorry this post is so long. I just hope someone with more knowledge about Sprint's billing system can explain this to me!
