I have tried to find a way to install the new BBM 5.0, but can't seem to figure it out. I'm new to the blackberry world (3 days now) and I received an old 8703e that is now setup on my personal cell line.

So, I updated the software (desktop and blackberry) but it says my BBM is up to date at 4.2.1

I am on the Bell newtwork in Canada and can't seem to get it no matter how hard I try. If I go to blackberry Appworld, it can't be downloaded any other way except by browser, which I don't have, I only have email and BBM on my Blackberry. Am I screwed without the internet to browse and locate this program?

The "R" doesnt show up but I get the "thank you for calling cricket natnwide roaming...you have x minutes left" whenever I make a call.
From doing some research I think it maybe has to do with the PRL? I dont know how to find out what my home SID should be.

Also, the web and mms dont work. I know usually they dont but does anyone have any hints or changes i an make to try harder?
