GroupWise Z10 sync problem

My inbox folder on z10 keeps appearing and disappearing (long intervals).
I have access to my sent file all the time but not the incoming email.
My college uses active sync (MS exchange/datasync).
My IT department has reset my secure connection to the server three times, and instructed me to leave domain name blank and use SSL. We use GroupWise.
IT doesn't know what else to do and I have set up and deleted the account several times. Sometime the inbox folder is there and then it disappears. When it is there the syncing is erratic.

Is there anyone who can help? I love my Z10 and have had it for more than a month. I need to be connected to my work email and have survived using my iPad. My several Yahoo emails are working fine.

What should I do and what questions should I ask my IT folks?

Thanks!!!

I'm an attorney; solo practitioner. One of the things I love about my work is that I get to use whatever tech/gadgets I want.

I've been using Blackberry since the 850. Yes, I'mthat old. I've been using Google Apps for Business (paid version) since release.

I realize that many people would suggest I use Android, but I just can't let go of my beloved Blackberry.

I've found that, for me, it's worth using and paying for hosted BES (GBES) for Google Apps. You can find it here: Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Google Apps

This is not a plug for anything; I'm simply stating how I use and connect my BB to Google Apps for Biz.

I'd appreciate hearing from others who use Google Apps for Business and their experiences. Have you upgraded to BB10? If so, how did the transition from your legacy BB OS go?

I work in a small law office - 2 lawyers and 3 staff. We contract with an IT company to manage our server, software, blackberry server, etc. I am relatively new and despite having my blackberry set up for email, contacts, calendar, etc. (BES? BIS?) I am told by our tech guy that I cannot get my boss' outlook calendar on my phone - only my own. This make absolutely no sense to me and the fact is that my boss' calendar is essentially the office calendar which we all work around. Can anyone explain any error in my tech guys advice or alternatively any work arounds etc? Any help appreciated.

Hi, i have BES 10 installed and running with BDS and UDS on the same server. we now want to start setting up androids and ios devices but our firewall guys are wondering how active sync communicates. Does ActiveSync need to talk to the BES Communication Module or something else? They had assumed it ran through BES
