1. What does (PBAP) mean?
2. What is +EDR?
3. What is (A2DP/AVCRP)?
4. I know what DUN is but what is the difference between Storm DUN and Storm 2-why is DUN not listed under Storm?

He made a call, and about 15 seconds into that call the connection drops. The problem doesn't seem to be consistent to that, but it never works properly. Does anyone know of known issues with the storm2 over bt? Anybody have advice regarding such?

I bought the Storm 2 (9520) and previous had the Storm 1 (9530) and everything worked.


The device that is working shows a speaker icon beside it under bluetooth menu and the other 2 that do not work properly have a headset ison beside each. Not sure if that means anything.

The two devices that do not work stream bluetooth music but do not work on calls. When I place a call it's just like it's not paired and makes the call threw the handset.

When i connect to the 2 devices that do not work properly just Stereo Audio and AV/Remote Control pop up in the bubble when connected with checkmarks.

I have also set up the Blue Ant to pair with my cheapy old... I have successfully set up my Tour 9630 to pair with my Blue Ant car speakerphone. I have also set up the Blue Ant to pair with my cheapy old Motorola phone.

If I get in the car with Moto phone (can't remember model -- looks like Razr, but smaller, and it's not a Crazr), when I open up the Blue Ant mic, the Blue Ant automatically sees my Motorola and they connect -- no buttons pushed. Like magic.

But the same does not happen for my Blackberry. To get the blackberry to do this, I have to open mic on Blue Ant, then go to the Bluetooth menu on the BB and go through the pairing process.

Is this the way it's supposed to work? (And when I try this my motorola is not with me). Can something be set up so that the Blue Ant automatically sees my BB?

Does anyone have any good or bad opinions on the newer 975 Discovery model?

BTW, their technical support was very helpful last week as I had some trouble pairing the 925 to my wife's phone. Problem was fixed promptly.

The carrying+charging case is definitely a big plus for me. Competitors of Plantronics should take note...

Have just got new storm2 after years with a pearl. The phone pairs with my car (Renault Laguna3) and have transferred contact list with ease.
I can receive calls well via the bluetooth system in the car (although some people complain that they can't hear me very well) but a strange situation happened last night - having made a call I used the remote controls on the car to terminate the call which it did on the car but the phone didn't drop the connection.
This has worked fine previously with the pearl but this is the first time it has failed with the storm2.
Does anyone have any ideas please?

The earpiece turns loosely, as does the whoel device swivels loosely around the ear loop. These things makes it difficult for the headset to stay in place well.
