I've searched several other threads, and couldn't find precisely this question... Apologies if I didn't look hard enough!

I have a BB8520 "Curve 2", generously donated by a friend with a spare, which I'm running on a PAYG plan. Is there an app, ideally a full-fledged mapping one, otherwise something that just reports raw location coordinates at a pinch, that'll work with such a setup? It appears that Google Maps only works with GPS, and conversely, Bing Maps only works with a working BB Internet Service (if I'm understanding what I've read and tried correctly).

Is there no way to use tower-triangulation location via ad hoc data if necessary, and wifi if possible?

Hi guys, I'm turning towards the CrackBerry community for help (once again). I've been using the Z10 since day one on the Koodo Network here in the Great White North, but recently I bought a T-Mobile SIM for business travel in the good ol USA. Things is, I noticed T-Mobile offer a T-MOBILE Refill app on the Google play store. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it, but I've yet to come across the APK file. Does anyone out there have the APK file or even better a working BAR file?

It would definitely help me out, knowing I can top everything up on the fly.

Thanks in advance,

It is hard for me to believe that I cannot sync contacts, calendar, tasks, notes etc.

I just wasted $30 on Mark/Space “the missing sync.” It worked OK at first with BB OS 5.x (8530), but it stopped working and no amount of TS would fix it. The company, Mark/Space, is horrible. Their web site has a defunct ticket system and they never responded to any of my emails.

But here’s what really bothers me. According to their site (markspace.com), the BB OS requirements are…

"BlackBerry OS version 4.2.1 or later, including 6.0.x.”

So, thinking that I may have better luck with a newer BB OS, I upgraded to a 9310 Curve with OS 7.x. That didn’t work. I found Mark/Space on Twitter (@syncexperts) and their posts were current. They didn’t respond to my posts on Facebook. They say that they do not support BB OS 7.x. Shouldn’t that be made clear on their web site? I was thinking that since they no longer use their site for support, that it was out of date. It should read something like "BlackBerry OS version 4.2.1 or later, [UP TO] 6.0.x. [DOES NOT SUPPORT OS 7.0.x]” or whatever. How hard is that?

I’m asking for a refund. But I still need to sync my Address Book and iCal. Isn’t there anything else out there? There is Syncamatic Mac but it is too costly ($30/$60) and it hasn’t had a update in two years. I should also mention that Blackberry Desktop totally blew away all my contacts and calendars so that is what got me started looking for another “solution.” I hate that damn word.

We are using BLackberry Work Drives App on our shiny new Z10's to connect to our main file share. The connectis fine In can see all the files / folders there. However when I go in to a particular folder I cannot see any files / folders in it?!?!? I have checked the permissions against working folders and propagated them down to all sub files and folders but no luck.

I have tried the following;
1. If I create a file or folder in the problem folder it works and can be seen from the network but if I exit then go back into the folder I can't see it for the Work Drives App.
2. If I create a file / folder in the problem directory from my PC I cant see it from Work Drives App.
3. If I copy a file or folder out the problem folder to the root I can see it fine.

Very bizarre problem - it seems like permissions but I am sure the permissions are fine.

Thanks for any help.
The Playlists are maintained in Windows Media Player. I sync them through the BB software. The Playlists are sitting out on the specific drive and they are titled the same as the above, but without the "_2".
I have a feeling BB found a duplicate Playlist somewhere. But I can't find any?
I tried deleting the Playlists manually on the BB, and then re-syncing. Still kept them as "_2".
