Having just watched #37 tutorial on how to sync outlook now very frustrated still not working.

Downloaded v4.6 of desktop software and setting up what to/not to sync, but on list of applications to sync with there's "ASC II" (not completely sure what this is/how it works), then there's "yahoo" and the option of "none" - but no option to choose outlook for sync'ing calendar (even though it appears in the tutorial very clearly) - what's going on?

Secondly, sent and received emails don't synch either.
If i send an email on my pc i really would appreciate it the pc would tell my blackberry via the desltop software that it had sent it - but it doesn't. Similarly, if i send an email from my blackberry i'd like outlook to reflect this (after sync'ing) - but it doesn't.

(btw I am running outlook, not outlook express)

Having just abandoned a microsoft mobile solution in favour of blackberry i am bitterly regretting the decision and now seriously considering a revolt.:(:(

Can anyone help? Please, I'm desperado!
Mike

I'm new to using my Blackberry (8830 World Edition) and I'm having a little trouble. I have emailed myself some free ringtones. I've opened the emails, clicked the link, saved the file - all without any problems. I've gone into the profile settings to edit the ringtone associated with certain profiles and changed the 'phone' setting to one of the downloaded and saved ringtone. When I try to test the setting by calling my own phone the newly set ringtone doesn't ring - it stays set on the default sound. I'm following all the step-by-step directions that I can find online and nothing is working. Help, please!

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever come across this bug. I have a user with an 8820 and at least once a week (usually Friday or Saturday) her clock and date will change automatically, sometimes by months, and by years... so today she showed it to me and it was set for June with the year 2045...

She is definitely not messing with it, she does not use any desktop manager, her phone syncs wirelessly from our BES/Exchange servers. When the time jumps up by years it blanks out her messages and calanders.

Here is what I have tried:
*Upgraded to the latest OS that is stickied to this forum
*Changed the date & time source from Network to Off (this didn't work, was originally set to network)
*Now set to update from "Blackberry" and we'll see how that goes.

I've tried searching these forums for similar issues but was unable to find anything similar. PLEASE if anyone has any tips I am all ears
