I was trying to enter a new city into the weather app. I typed the city name in, but how do I enter to search for it??? On the old phone, I had to press the enter button, but with the new touch screen, said button is not there. So how do I enter for things on the new phone??? Please help!!!! Thanks!

I'm finding that as I go about my day, sitting and crouching while having the BB Q10 in my pocket results in the unlock button being pressed for long enough for the phone to power itself off.

Is anyone else coming across the same issue?

BB Q10 is the only phone which powers off by long pressing a single button. All other smartphones require some kind of conscious action after the long key press, iPhone requires a swipe, Galaxy S4 requires a swipe or selection on the screen. The old Blackberries didn't use the unlock button as the power button, plus you had to unlock your phone in order to power it off, which makes more sense then the current Q10 set up.

Anyone else fed up with the lame Facebook app for the Q10? You can't make places anymore, you can't put photos in specific folders, and most of all you can't delete their notifications with delete prior!

Also it pushes notifications from 3 years ago on my Hub! I think we have been ripped off with limited Facebook abilities and bugs.

I noticed BBM also doesn't delete prior notifications either but that's a separate issue.

Ive searched and searched for a way to set a custom tone for (SMS) (FOR EACH CONTACT). You can set it for BBM, messages, (dont get why this doesn't work for sms) and ringer. Everywhere I look it says it works but not for text? like how can that not be the most important one to set? I dont use bb messages (PIN) message I assume thats what they mean by messages. I would think 99.9% of people would be more concerned with changing a SMS contact tone NOT a stupid (PIN) message. Ive always been able to do it with all my other blackberries, Like what a FAIL on Rims part not making sure this works. Anyone have any ideas? I cant find much on this. Am I the only one having an issue with this?? I dont want the same tone for every sms i get like wow...

So I put in my media card from BB Bold and if I tap on "pictures", they're all there to view. However, if I try to access them through BBM to post an existing picture or to add a picture to a contact for example, they're nowhere to be found. Clicking on "media card" only lets me choose any pics I've taken on the Q10. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? Thanks.

First of all what a great site this is. I know you are all Blackberry addicts and I have been trying to get an honest answer but really need advice. I have a Torch with a slider keyboard which I absolutely love. I have to change as we get email leads at work that have to be responded to really quickly so hopefully an upgrade will be faster?. Everyone is telling me to get the i phone 5 as its quicker. I went to the local Telus store and loved the size and feel of the keyboard on the Q10 that actually feels better than the Torch. So my question if anyone can please help or know?
Would the Blackberry be just as fast picking up the emails? Also to those of you that actually have a Q10 was it a good move?
Sorry to ramble and thanks in advance.

Hello,

Over the past two days, at least two people have sent me SMS messages which haven't arrived on my Q10.

Second level support at my network (EE) can see the messages (ie time, sender, number of characters) and from the server side, all appears okay.

Can anyone think of any setting on the handset which could be suppressing these messages? I'm aware that there are apps available which can ignore calls etc, but I don't use anything like this.
