With BBM on iPhone and Android - users will be able to generate a BBID. And the same BBID could be used in cars to make BBM in cars available.

Without having BBM available on iOS, Android car manufacturer will hardly willing to integrate these feature.

I have a problem on my z10 with contacts. I only have 5 BBM contacts but two of them do not show as BBM contacts on my main contact list. While they are there in BBM, when I look on the actual contacts list it only gives the option to add them. There is a similar issue with certain contacts on fb and twitter. I am invited to 'follow' contacts I am already following and some fb contacts don't show up at all.
Does anyone have a solution to this?

I'm very happy with the updates to the remember app in 10.1, namely the ability to use rich formatting in Evernote entries.

One item still missing is the ability to create check boxes within a note itself.

The remember app will read check boxes that have been created via the web interface, and they can be checked and unchecked, but I haven't been able to find a way to create them via the remember app.

Has anyone else found a way of creating check boxes within the app?

With usb host coming and Wi Fi file sharing I was thinking it would be nice if we had a Link app on the phone that could send a backup to a wireless hard drive or onto a usb device without needing a pc or Mac. It would be nice also if we could use a wireless hard drive to just store files and music/movies for easy access and streaming. Please feel free to expand on this idea if you think of anything. I'm hoping BlackBerry will see this and add this feature.

One of the coolest features of BBM on BB10 is the screen sharing feature.

If I'm correct... since this app allows you to share your screen and show any and every app running on the device... and how they flow from one to another... it really needs to have a holistic view of the entire OS to provide this ability.

As a result I'm thinking that no single 3rd party app (Eg from BlackBerry) on say... iOS is going to get approval to have oversight let alone run "over top" of other apps.

Would you agree?

I'm also guessing that the deep BBM API integration that BlackBerry apps has access to... would not be available on other platforms.

Long story short I think that BBM on all the major mobile platforms will be great (yes I know a certain Redmond company has not been included)... but I'm guessing that it will still not be quite as awesome as it is on BlackBerry ;-)

Hello, I'd like to start by saying I'll be writing this review straight from my Mobile Z10 that I've been using for a few months now. Having the Z10 is my first time owning a Blackberry smartphone.

Honestly, I wasn't very optimistic about getting the Z10. It seems that it hasn't been getting "Great" reviews, and has noticeably been receiving a lot of negative attention by lots of smartphone users. People who review the phone seem to have very bias opinions and seem to hold something against BlackBerry because of its previous bad reputation on its previous operating system.

Now, my first impression on the BlackBerry Z10 and it's new Operating system OS 10, was impressing. I was very impressed by its smooth working interface and full gestured base navigation. It makes surfing threw the phone very quick and surprisingly was very smooth. Though at first, it took some getting use to. I've never really experienced some lag or glitches during my time using the phone. But what is really impressing about the Z10 is its virtual Keyboard. The phone quickly learns your way of writing, and will suggest you words that you use most often. It'll help you to quickly write by a simple swipe with the finger. It also quickly recognizes the languages you use to write, and will suggest you words in the right context of your sentences in different languages.

Though it's new OS 10 isn't the only interesting aspect about this Phone. Although it does play a huge role on the phones functionality. I found that it's HDMI port is very practical as I can watch my favorite movies from the phone, directly to my LCD Television screen. I could also use it to project some gaming applications such as for example, Need for Speed: Undercover.

The phone does have some GREAT specs don't get me wrong, though they aren't the best on the market. Though it functions tremendously well with what it has. In my opinion, the BlackBerry Z10 is one of the best phones on the market and it stands very well against its famous competitors. Such as Samsung Galaxy S3/S4, HTC One, Sony Xperia, Iphone 5 Etc. Though in my opinion, I rather using my new BlackBerry Z10 over the Iphone as I'm not a big app guy and I like to have my expandable memory.

Although I can keep going on by saying positive aspects about the Z10, there are a few negatives that I've personally noticed which bothered me. Although it's keyboard may be very well functional, and may even be the best in the market currently, sometimes it can be quite irritating. Il sometimes be typing some sentences and it'll auto correct words in for say French instead of English. Though, you may change that in your options if you'd like to only use English while your typing. It's not a big deal.

The camera is very good, don't get me wrong. But the pictures taken under low lighting won't be as good. But it has a very interesting feature that enables you to time shift. The camera is 8MP and can film 1080p video.

The battery is not very good and most of the time dies on me half way threw the day. The battery is only 1200Mah which I would also highly consider before buying if your a hardcore user. Though, you can always buy an extra battery bundle that is currently around 50$ on the market.

Last but not least although, although the BlackBerry App store has been expanding, there are still a lack of applications, and most of them are pricey and a few are free. That could turn lots of people away from buying this devices and other Blackberry devices running on OS 10 such as the Q10.

If you are interested in a phone for practicality I think this phone, in my opinion, will be your best or one of the best options in the current smartphone market. Though, if your really interested in vast app selection, right now, RIM might not be your best option .Then Android, or IOS might be best suited for you. Though if your someone who has patience, and that is willing to give OS 10 a chance I'd greatly suggest you a Blackberry Z10. Though you'll have to wait for BlackBerry to expand on its app selection. BlackBerry 10 holds a bright future, though still has work to be done.

Thanks for reading,
