I've been having issues with it since I started it back up. I had been using a Z10 up until recently, so I used the SIM from that in my bold, making sure I had it lined up properly. Everything else seems to work except BBM and my Email. I had some issues with Blackberry App World as well, but I managed to eventually delete it and re-download it. I also just updated my BBM but it's still not working. I'm sure it has something to do with my Blackberry ID, but I don't know how to set it up again on this phone.

Also, trying to use Email set up, I get the following message: The application has encountered an error and cannot continue.

I don't have BIS/BES service (becouse in my country is too expencive).
I've connected it to BB Desktop Manager and in Application section it offers me to update some stuff and install some programs. This is list:
BlackBerry 6.0.0 System Software - Update
BlackBerry 6.0.0 Core Application - Update
BB Messenger 5.0.2.12 - Downgrade
Facebook 1.9 - Install
Google Talk - Install
Youtube - Install

For now everything works fine, I can use Internet (gprs and wifi) send and receive MMS. I don't use BBM. I am afraid that after all that upgrade it will stop working unless I get BIS.
I have done complete backup of phone, so maybe after that I will be able to restore the way it was?
I don't want to install FB 1.9 because I've heard that only versions up to 1.6 work without BIS.

What should I do?

Also, there is one other thing. I've created BlackBerry ID, and so did the previous owner. Problem is, when I try to login to App World with my ID and Pass it says "wrong password" (I even tried to change it. For now I can download with acc from previous owner, but I would like to start using my own account. I am unable to down load my contacts into my Vauxhall Mokka Phone system.
Each tim I have tried this message shows on my Blackberry Bold 9700 ‘’Unable to locate Object Push Server’’ .

Been to the garage who also cannot do it but the Sevice Manager downloaded his own contacts off his
own IPhone so we know the system works.

Can anyone offer advice as this is so frustrating

I do regular backups, so I didn't *lose* any data, but I was travelling when the issue happened so I was unable to restore promptly. Now I am left with having new messages now, but I still need to restore the text messages to this person onto the device. This is really important to me. I know it sounds dumb, but I really need these messages on my phone.

Is there a way to restore them without erasing all the messages I've exchanged over the past week? I want to upgrade to os6 will my problem be solved on upgrading to os 6.

For the last half year I've been experiencing drops in my battery. Every time when my battery is 30% it suddenly shuts down my phone and when I turn it on it's 0% out of the sudden. Last month I bought a new (official Blackberry) battery, but I'm still experiencing the same problems.
