especially when doing a media sync, the connection will sometimes drop off and then immediately reconnect. but that basically screws up the sync.

Is there a way to set up alerts from specific phone numbers and silence all other phone calls as a custom setting especially in Bedside mode?

I set my Tour down in the charger and have it on Bedside mode when I go to bed. I want to turn all alerts off EXCEPT for a couple of important phone numbers/texts that I need to be aware of.

Is there a way to do this? I could not figure out a way to do this.

I put used in quotes because the ones I've been looking at have had screen protectors and otterboxes on them since day one, so I'm not to concerned, and they're about $100.00 less than the new ones. But anyways, I was thinking I may wait for the new one, but it seems like a bad idea. The only upgrades are a trackpad and WiFi. I could never see myself using the WiFi. I have a Curve with no WiFi, and I never wish it did have it. Also, I can only imagine how extremely expensive the new ones would be on eBay short after release. My upgrade isn't until December of next year, so waiting isn't an option. I really don't see much of a point in dishing out an extra (I'm guessing) $150.00 that I don't have for a trackpad and WiFi I would never use. I searched the forums and couldnt find an answer on this. I have a Tour which I just upgraded from a RAZR. I know I have a lot of learning to do. I downloaded Pandora, which is terrific, and I am wondering if it is possible to play Pandora and or music saved on the phone through the speakers in my car. I do not have a headphone jack on the radio in the car but I do have a USB port. Can I connect using a USB to 1/8 headphone cord? is there such a cord? I went to Radioshack and they didnt have one.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Extremely fast and smooth$ my only problems are with threaded texting. I changed the view to line instead of bubble view and now it won't change back. Also when I pick someone from contacts to text it doesn't always pop up on the screen. Did I load the wrong os or is there a way to get it back to bubble view? Any suggestions?
