They somehow tested my blackberry and put a sim in it & it worked. He checked it and said it was unlocked already.

Is this normal? I never called uscc to have it unlocked.

I have seen many threads offering fixes. Can someone bottom line the optimal way to fix this? I downloaded Garmin mobile and that too cannot connect. I have GPS activated. Zero connection. I have been outside, driving. Zero.

I called tech support and they told me that RIM has a weak GPS signal in this area so its not surprising I can't connect. I have never heard this before. Has anyone been told this before?

Anyone in WI or N. Illinois able to connect to GPS with a 8330m?

My wife and I switched from cricket to US Cellular in August at the time we got 2 cheap A** Samsung SCH u340 phones. I really hated that phone with a passion, but at the time we could not afford to get BlackBerries. The 30day gurantee came and went. As much as I wanted a blackberry it was not in the cards. So I went to eBay and purchased 2 Moto w385's for less then $10 I activated them on my account and I liked them allot better then the u340 Last week a rep from US Cellular calls and tells me that my account had 2 upgrades available because we were using the W385. What that was awsome, i thought I had to wait a year or more before I qualified for an upgrade. I still did not beleive her until we went to US Cellular last week and got 2 Tours at upgrade price. we had to sign another contract but we signed the first in August so really whats 3 more monts added to it, and the best part is I now have a BlackBerry.
