Why is my Themes section not updating?!!! HALP!!!

Btw, I'm running OS 4.6.1.231 and this never happened when I had .114 or whatever the older OS was.

Have an 8900, opened it up this morning and my contacts are gone. I know they are there, it shows there is 1043 on the Options/Default. When I open the Address Book, it shows Business. I can switch the Filter to Personal and nothing still shows. I can compose an email, text, etc and it will display them as I am typing in the To: field. I use BB Desktop Manager and sync them to Outlook and they are all in Outlook. I also backup the device automatically on a weekly basis. I have never categorized them and by looking at previous posts, this would be one reason nothing is displaying. I have tried categorizing them all to Personal in Outlook and syncing but still the same. Any other ideas? BTW, I am on 4.6.1.250 with a regional carrier called LongLines, no BIS/BES, etc., just a wide open 89000 that allows 3rd party apps.

Everything works perfectly on mine, but my boyfriend's google map doesn't work right. It shows his GPS location perfectly, but signing in his Google acct for latitude/layers won't work. I've typed (spelt) it right, but it keeps saying "login failed" and something about "captcha". Is there a way I could fix this? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have just had a new BB 8900 Curve deliver as I had an issue with my old one (No sound/Ringtone) So I backed up all my numbers to my computer (Currently running Vista!) now I have just set up my new BB and sync'd my numbers back onto it from windows contacts but now all the contacts have a little picture added to them which is the same one I use for my user logo on woindows?

No can anyone tell me how I get rid of these? So far I can only manage to delete them manually on the BB device itself and having over 150 contacts this will prove very time consuming!!!
Thanks in advance

Slow email from Exchange server over BIS

I'm a new crackberry addict. Hey, hows it going. I'm loving the whole BB experience. 10 times better than any phone I've ever had. Just one little thing is bothering me, and I can't find an answer for it.

I have two email accounts setup on my phone. One is personal coming in off of a POP3 server, and the other is work coming from an Exchange server. Email from my POP3 is super quick and snappy for both sending and receiving in getting to my phone, however on average it takes 10-15 minutes for an email to come in over my work email address.

At the main office where I work, I do know that they have a BB Enterprise server. I'm just not willing to pay AT&T for the privilege of accessing the company directory for an extra $15 a month. No previous to me going BB, I had a Windows Mobile phone. I had my work account setup with Push email and I would get the email on the WinMo phone before it would even show up in Outlook on my laptop. I'm saddened to think that phone has an advantage to the BB lol.

My phone is a Curve 8900, and the second one in a month at that. Both phones acted the same in this matter, so I'm doubtful it's anything hardware related.

Now I'm using the Outlook Web Access to point to my email for work. I don't know if maybe OWA doesn't play nice with BIS, or something else. This is the same way I had it setup on the WinMo phone. I've tried getting a new SIM card as my old one was still branded Cingular, didn't change anything. Now I have looked to send the Service Books back to my phone, and as I understand it I should be able to do this from the BIS portal, however I can't see any option to do this.

I'm running the latest Official OS, 4.6.1.315, on AT&T for service. I am new to this, so I might be leaving out pertinent information so let me know if anyone needs more. I would love to get my work email working like the other account.

Thanks for your time!

Hi all,

I looked around but didn't find anything on the forums about this. Whenever I read an email on my blackberry 8900 if I go to my email accounts on my computer the emails I checked on my BB are in the deleted folder. Wondering what settings I have to change to stop that from happening?

Thanks...

*EDIT* Seems this is only happening with my hotmail account. If I check my GMAIL account which also checks my hotmail account the emails are in my inbox.

**Before I ask my question, I would really only appreciate assistance from helpful, non rude people. I've experienced that before, so I would just like to get that out of the way.

I am sending ringtones that I created from a site called Myxer, to my phone. It obviously comes in the form of a message. When I download it, I discovered that it didn't get downloaded to my SD card, but to the actual phone, listed as a ringtone. It's happened to me twice already. When I take photos, it automatically gets stored to my card.

I even attempted to utilize the blackberry software to try to move it, but could not get it to work.

Any kind advise?
