Blackberry Z10 is available for pre order on both etisalat and du in the uae. I just went to a du retail center and they do indeed have the pre orders but they were not ready to accept it just yet tho it is up on their website. Moreover the retail guy said you dont have to preorder there is not much demand and that he does not believe that it would do well. I just stood there and gave him a huge lecture on the advantages on BB Z10 over the other fruit phone and told him that he might just eat his words... {i hope i dont have to eat mine }

Thank god i will be getting mine for free... Im due for a new one from work as i waited literally for over a year to replace...my 9700 is running out of juice and this new z10 has come at the right time...
The issue with phones nowadays i would say the competition is a lot fiercer and i believe we will see more level playong fields between various phone manufacturers...not all will go for samsung or iphone..some like nokia..some like BBs and Sony still has a strong brand name amongst consumers world wide and with their new range and technology the competition will be even stronger...
I like many brands and hopefully this Z10 will be a good one..it will surely be an improvement over the old OS6 i got...looking forward to it...
UAE is a strong market for BB so it will sell and now with BBM video, i think it will be a big hit amongst BBM addicts!

i dont think bbm video will be supported in middle east.. same like facetime is blocked there.... anyways i hope this is not be the case with z-10
