twitter is just a free micro-blogging site. i think you get 140 characters per post - that's it - and no pics. twitterberry is a free app that makes it easier to post to twitter from your berry, as well as other things. you open twitterberry, type in your post, click update, and you're done! the post is sent directly to your twitter acct.
twitter does have a mobile site, but you will find twitterberry to be much more user friendly for quick, on-the-go posting from your berry.
you can have your twitter posts fed to your personal blog either via rss, or twitter has a "gadget" that you can use, as well. (may work w/ facebook and others, but i'm not sure) great for putting in your blog's sidebar - allowing very easy quick little posts to your blog. (works very well w/ blogger accts, btw)
to see an example of a twitter blog, check out espn's.Last edited by dacur; 02-15-2008 at 06:50 AM.

I've been hearing the word twitter and twitterberry a lot lately. I didn't know what it was until just now when I read the preceding post. However, I don't really understand the purpose of it.

I'm not sure there is a "purpose". I usually post a random thought or vent a little frustration via twitter. Give someone I'm following some moral support about their thought or vent. I have networked with a couple of folks about web design elements via Twitter.

Love Twitter. Once I get my BB, Twitterberry will be among my first apps installed.

(It's like every day I don't have a BB, I crave it more...) - 04-01-2008, 11:41 PM #17

Twitterberry is pretty great. Needs some updating of features, but allows updates easily. I would love to be able to reply to users with it.....

I'm on twitter too, same name as on here. It's great for posting things that just pop into your head, i.e. your driving along and someone cuts you up. You may think to yourself "silly person" (you may think stronger thoughts, but I won't say then here, don't want to be banned). So you pick up your bb and type into tinytwitter/twitterberry "People's driving in this town sucks"
Hope that clears things up a bit. That's not sweat leaving your body, it's your fat cells crying. - 04-20-2008, 12:46 PM #24
