No more BBM friends-is it worth keeping
A few of my (real) friends had Blackberries, and often we would convese on BBM, it was great, simple, and fun. But recently about 5 of them moved into the iPhone, so now the BBM is just a idle program, no more fun
. So now my biggest though is, should i jump ship and get into a iphone? anyone has experienced this? i know the saying the grass is greener on the other side, but really the BBM was the kicker to get the BB.

There are other messenger programs. I am sure there are some compatible to both phones.

there are no specific iPhone to iPhone messaging applications (that are of any worth) so unless you want to switch to an iPhone, there is no need to. any type of messaging that they are going to use on it (AIM, e-mail, Twitter, whatever) will still allow you to message with them. so the choice is ultimately yours.

umm.. the bb has aim, msn, googletalk, bbm, yahoo + other messengers that do all of them in 1..
The iphone on the other hand when you log into a messenger and have it on the screen..
If you leave that screen you get logged out..
third party apps are not aloud to run in the background and there push service isn't implimented..
so trading all that you have on a blackberry for the iPhone may not fill your needs unless you want your only true push to be sms..
I am not saying that the iPhone is bad but from the reason your leaving it doesn't really look like your gaining anything from going to a iPhone..
Just my 2 cents..Guys/Gals when I post things I am posting to the best of my knowledge if I am for certain incorrect please correct me more knowledge to me helps. Thanks!
