We are just like the flowers and grass. Our energy, power, accomplishments, and hopes will fade away. They are all temporary and, at best, useful in this time and place only. God's mighty power and His word are eternal: past, present, and future. All His promises will be accomplished. In spite of all the changes in the universe, the world governments, and the plans of man, God remains the same.

God is faithful. We can trust his promises to be kept and his purposes to be good. How do we know? The sunrise each morning is a reminder that the Father of heaven and earth is at work keeping his universe in working order. If it is true in nature, it is true in the spiritual realm as well.

More importantly and exciting is that we believers in the one true God, and his perfect, sinless son Jesus Christ will spend eternity together worshiping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I'm a worship leader here in SW Indiana. I desire to see Jesus known among the nations and my BB devices help me do that! Bold 9900 and 32 GB Playbook!

Revelation 5 is my favorite chapter of the bible, but my favorite scripture reference is 1 Corinthians 10:13. I pray that this passage encourages all those who believe!

Our Lord tells us that the greatest commandment is love. If we live and breathe God's love, all the other Godly virtues will be present and operating in our lives.

How do we know one has been truly regenerated by the Holy Spirit? See Paul's words in 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5

"4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake."

Words are always followed up by actions, seeking to Glorify Jesus!
