No gun and badge. However, I work with law enforcement on a regular basis. I work as an environmental investigator(20 years- collectively)for a state agency where the fines and penalties can range from $2,500.00 - $10,000.00/day/violation

Do those of us in the private sector count?
Hazmat technician and emergency response team leader here.
Also do work for a company that teaches hazmat response and develops emergency response plans for local governments.
For those of you who do hazmat response check out web wiser app. Not as good as the one for windows and palm based PDAs but decent enough. - 02-23-2008, 08:21 PM #21
Do you LEO's carry your blackberry on your duty belt?
- 02-23-2008, 08:35 PM #22
I used to but the edges started to get scratched up so now I carry it in my shirt pocket.

The "document pockets" on 5.11 shirts work great if your agency allows you to wear them. That's where I keep mine. I suffer from Batman belt syndrome, so there's not much room...
