I really only talk with people I know I have things in common with like military ****.
I love how chics talk about how "oh guys are hornballs etc" yet the primary reason I don't talk to women is because they do the same **** and well I prefer to actually have physical contact to stimulate myself vs rubbing my BB and thinking naughty thoughts about some random chic lol
Plus most people never have much to say lol

I randomly select PINs from threads I fit into, paste a nice little intro into the request and wait a day or two. If no response I retract the request and keep moving.
Unaccepted requests bug me. Yea you got to take everything with a grain of salt, I've only got a few bbm contacts (few personal rest from CrackBerry) haven't had any problems... (Of course now that I said that........)
I'm typically up for a decent conversion. (Just note while I always have my CrackBerry on me, I do work 8-5 lol so I'm not always on it)

However I don't get many requests from girls. I usually accept everyone and if I don't like where the conversation is going, I just delete them. I've met some really awesome guys who are there to have good conversations and not trying to pick up.
If I'm not available to chat, I make myself show as unavailable. That way there's not any misunderstandings. I usually don't initiate conversations either for some reason, probably scared of being rejected too - lol.

I am having a hard time keeping up! I have a few close friends and a few good friends, and a whole lot of people asking for help. I try but sometimes I can't keep up with the help requests!

Be patient. There are plenty of cool people out there(in here). You only need to find a few "good" contacts to message with.

There are many reports on the last 3 months for problems with requests (and/or response) never making it through the RIM servers. We never got to the bottom of it, but it was starting to sound like an overloaded server. In many cases the users were actively trying to add each other and there was no question of 'reject' or 'ignore'. The same sometimes seems to happen with messages between established contacts. he added me again, so i accepted, and he has no idea that we've talked several times before.
i'd delete him, but he'd just re-add me.
