BB Finder?
Is there a program that allows you to find other BB users in your area or in your immediate area? Say I"m at a work function or the airport. Is there a search like Bluetooth that will allow you to find BB users in your immediate area. I've recently gotten bored at a confrence and was chatting with a friend of mine across the room, but also realized there were other people doing the same thing. I wanted to search for local BB message users and tell them how boring this was and then tell them all where I'd be for drinks after the day session. I'm thinking that even if they don't want to talk or give you there pin to connect you can at least send them a 1 time message then they can disallow further conversation or connect.

There was a CSI about this - I forget what they called it but Warrick was in a club and people would text a person they wanted to get with and that person would say yay or nay and they'd go get their nasty on. I always wondered how they did that but I figured it was just good ole Hollywood magic.

That is a nice idea, I like it, but it could lead to so many bad things.

It probably would lead to bad things, but it would be a fun tool for responsible adults like myslef.

Bad things. I can definitely see the possible abuse and lack of real safeguards, I just get really bored in confrences and chatting at airports keeps me from spending money.

Also the augmented reality browser Wikitude that's available on BlackBerry allows to scan your environment and find BBM friends.
