It sucks not having your car with 'ya. Did you put it in storage or did you have to get rid of it. If I'm reading right it had a Chevy Big Block put in? or did you mean it had a 455 Olds motor in it? If it did have the Chevy motor what else was custom. I like Cutlass/442's with a clean stock look. A shop down the street just put the finishing touches on a '70 'vert, triple black with the W-30 Ram Air hood and some fat crager s/s rims. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against modifying a muscle car to make it run better. I just don't like it when anyone can tell it's been updated. I like the mods to be underneath were you don't see it. Improved suspension, breaks, fuel injection, overdrive tranny's, and maybe some mild wheels (17 or 18's with a vintage look) but the rest mostly stock. I think in the 90's they called it restomod and it kind of got wild and turned into the whole g-machine/pro-touring thing. I want something that even though people may think its fast down the 1/4 mile they don't think it can handle the turns like their newer toy may. Not really a true sleeper but definitely surprise them when the 40 year old brick on wheels just showed them that a stock vette isn't that great of a car.
