Never got into any of the hair band stuff. I was a thrash guy. About as close to a hair band that I got was Leatherwolf.

Scorpions ,DIO, Dokken.....it's too hard to have just one favorite metal band from the 80's.

80s music in general rocks. We used to travel to Columbus, GA, Tallahassee, and Atlanta for concerts before they opened the Civic Center in Albany.

Don't forget Maiden, Priest, Black and Blue, Alcatraz, etc.

kinda off topic but it is absolutely crazy KISS is not in rock n roll hall of fame. makes the hall loook like a sham.

Yeah, probably borderline. A little harder that the typical HB, but the hair was there.

A couple of years ago ('97

) the wife and I were able to see Alice Cooper, Dokken, Warrant, and Slaughter at the Aladdin in Las Vegas for $12.50 a ticket. Great show!

I'm not over 40, but the coolest thing I managed to pull off was doing a report on The Rime of the Ancient Marinerby the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. At the end of it, I used Iron Maiden's song for it and rocked the class out. My 12th grade English Lit. teacher about had a heart attack. It was hilarious. I did get an A+ by the way!
