80s music in general rocks. We used to travel to Columbus, GA, Tallahassee, and Atlanta for concerts before they opened the Civic Center in Albany.
Don't forget Maiden, Priest, Black and Blue, Alcatraz, etc.

This thread was borderline sacreligious until you mentioned the Crue.
Lynch Mob, Ratt, Cinderella, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden...oh how I could go on all day long.
I'm not over 40, but the coolest thing I managed to pull off was doing a report on The Rime of the Ancient Marinerby the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. At the end of it, I used Iron Maiden's song for it and rocked the class out. My 12th grade English Lit. teacher about had a heart attack. It was hilarious. ) the wife and I were able to see Alice Cooper, Dokken, Warrant, and Slaughter at the Aladdin in Las Vegas for $12.50 a ticket. Great show!
