    Does anyone know if there are any legal issues with using a BBM logo to advertise one's BBM Channel on social media or YouTube, or anywhere?

    Legal... no

    Use of Registered Trademarks even for not for profit usage is not legal.... That said, I doubt anyone would care if it is used in a way that "helps" BlackBerry. But if you are trying to profit from it's usage, or if your are doing things that put BlackBerry in a bad light. They have the right to ask you to remove it... and if you don't they have the right to ask "others" to have it removed.

    Yeah, I also doubt BlackBerry would sue someone for trying to promote a BBM Channel.

    BlackBerry actually protects their brand etc very much. If they start allowing people to use their logos and trademarks they would start vanishing the value and eventually loose protection. A company has to defend their IP rights - even though it seems silly in some cases. All nescessary to keep their rights in place.

    But go ahead - worst case is a letter to stop doing it :-)
