    Hi, developers!

I would like to port my existing BlackBerry 10 WebWorks app (AlcoGauge if you were interested) to PlayBook but I wansn't able to run PlayBook simulator in VMWare Fusion, VMWare Workstation, nor VMWare Player.

What software then do you use to run PlayBook simulator?

    Thank you

It should be VMWare Player, although I can't really reproduce any bugs here because the installer throws an error at me when I try to run it.

Does it give any specific error message?

Edit: Fixed my problem, at least (had to set compatibility mode, yeesh). It should just be:

    1. Install VMWare Player
    2. Install Simulator
    3. Open .vmx file in simulator folder with VMWare Player

The problem was with old version of VMWare Player. I used 5, installed 6 and everything works fine now. In version 5 it didn't even start up, now runs perfectly.
