And then came an update for 2.0 Developer Beta
The pic will show you the way.
Re-register your Playbook on the Dev 2.0 Beta site.
Thanks John.

I would advise recreating your WiFi connection profile after the update as it seems to be conflicting with the Blackberry ID if you're still using the old profile.Last edited by peter_betos; 11-03-2011 at 10:20 PM.

That's awful. If we can only call HataX and have the appworld bar file backed-up.

Can anyone give details of the changes? I'm hesitant to download it without having AppWorld unless there are some noticeable fixes and/or changes.
Thanks - 11-02-2011, 09:40 AM #9
It sure would be nice if they gave us an update to 1.0.7.3312...
*sigh* that sure would be nice. - 11-02-2011, 09:41 AM #10

With one hand they giveth and the other they take away.
Do you need any more proof that RIM are completely out of touch with their user base? No doubt they had a huge number of downloads of 2.0 and for some reason think that its bad that end users are eager to get updated software so now they intentionally cripple the update.
Lets not mention that any dev now wanting to keep using 2.0 to develop the NDK now has to have their device crippled but hey devs would never use their tablet like ordinary people. - 11-02-2011, 10:11 AM #15

From John:
Hey,
Can you guys confirm that it isn't in one of the left/right application panes? Also, can you provide a PIN of a device that doesn't have App World?
Thanks,
John
You need to go to the thread if you want to provide your PIN.
