The pic will show you the way.

Re-register your Playbook on the Dev 2.0 Beta site.

    Thanks John.

I would advise recreating your WiFi connection profile after the update as it seems to be conflicting with the Blackberry ID if you're still using the old profile.

Mine is showing 228MB. Either it is a big one or they aren't doing differential updates.

That's awful. If we can only call HataX and have the appworld bar file backed-up.

Can anyone give details of the changes? I'm hesitant to download it without having AppWorld unless there are some noticeable fixes and/or changes.

    Thanks

With one hand they giveth and the other they take away.

Do you need any more proof that RIM are completely out of touch with their user base? No doubt they had a huge number of downloads of 2.0 and for some reason think that its bad that end users are eager to get updated software so now they intentionally cripple the update.

Lets not mention that any dev now wanting to keep using 2.0 to develop the NDK now has to have their device crippled but hey devs would never use their tablet like ordinary people.

Someone else reported on the dev forum that their AppWorld works also. I wonder where the no app world news came from?

Maybe what the previous poster did was wipe the device.

Well, it's for development. I'd say they are in touch with developers. Hence the ability to access the GPS. If I'm doing an HTML5 app, and wanted to access the GPS, I wouldn't be able to unless I update to this build. That's why it's a developer beta.

    From John:

    Hey,

Can you guys confirm that it isn't in one of the left/right application panes? Also, can you provide a PIN of a device that doesn't have App World?

    Thanks,

    John

You need to go to the thread if you want to provide your PIN.
