Our team has developed an application that pushes data from a stand-alone Windows based application to the BB via email. The BB application then reads the email and depicts the XML data in the email in the form of a calendar. The application can only work on BES because we are looking at the email folder structure specific to BES.

Initially, the application was built and tested on a 7290. The application works great on all of the 7290s we have tested so far. Then the application was then tested on 8700, 8800, 8310 and Pearls and we have found that there are some pieces (note: not specific models) on which it will work and others on which it will not. We have seen the application working on certain 8700s, 8800s, 8310s, 8330s and Pearls. But it has NOT worked on some other 8700s, 8800s, 8310s, 8330s and Pearls.

Initially we thought, it had something to do with the Desktop Manager version or the Firmware version or perhaps a combination. By now we have determined that it has nothing to do with the DT Mgr. We havent acquited the firware yet, but dont really know how to handle that case.

At this point we are stumped and dont know how/where to proceed from here. Getting hands-on on each and every device and then debugging the application on that device is not an option. We are also considering the service of deviceanywhere.com. But at this point any idea to test/debug the problem ourselves or any lead as to what might be causing this will be highly appreciated.

    Pls HELP!
    Thanks!
