HTML5 apps, beginner looking to get started
Hello,
I am in the process of learning about application development, I have minor experience in html and java, however html5 has caught my interest because of multi platform development.
my question is: can anyone give me an example of an app made in html5 so i can see what my final product may look like? Are there any available in appworld?
also from any experienced devs, what are your thoughts on developing apps using html5? is it worthwhile or should i spend my time learning another coding language.
Thank you for your help in advance, and i look forward to your responses.Download The EGO Mag Online app for Blackberry 5,6,7, Playbook and the all new Blackberry 10!

On the PlayBook there's a solitaire game (I forget the name, but it's the one with the highest rating), Asteroid Mania, and RIM's TunnelTilt game -- all written in HTML5.
I'm sure there are more, but those are just the ones I'm sure off off-hand.Last edited by recompile; 04-12-2012 at 05:13 PM.

you can make awesome apps with nothing but webworks

for example, I did these 2 for the playbook: Products | bit outside the box
and this for smartphones: wisetasks.wordpress.com
the possibilities are endless with html+javascript+bb

Go to http://html5apps.vacau.com (on your playbook) to see an example of things that are possible with HTML5 , Javascript and CCS3
