Hello everyone,

I'm currently writing an app for iOS and Android that relies heavily on the google maps api and based on what I've read on BlackBerry's developer site, the api is unsupported, sideloaded or not. My daily device is a z10 and I would love to write a native BB10 version of my app, but I'm not sure where to start. Can anyone refer me to where I should look into about either getting around the google maps api restriction or an alternative maps solution? The endomondo app in BBW (lol) looks like it uses google maps, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

Dont think there would be anyway to do it natively. You might have luck with the android version of your app working when sideloaded on your Z10

I don't know if this applies, but I overheard two guys talking while using the public restroom @ a phone restaurant that if you mispell your device name under user agent string Google maps will work.

Hope this is relevant. Good luck with your app. I'm excited to see it in BlackBerry World one day
