I am just getting into developing apps. My first app will come out at the end of the month. I have been looking on here for ideas on how to distribute apps. I have seen that there are basically 2 options.
1- App world. $200 sign up fee + 20% of sales.
2- Mobihand. 40% of sales (20% for Mobihand and 20% to the site i.e. Crackberry)
That sucks.
Here is my idea. What if I open an online store such as Mobihand. I charge 30% for apps that are sold thru other sites (i.e. Crackberry. I would give Crackberry 25% of sales and keep 5%) If you sold thru my site I would only charge you 10%.
Let me know what you, the developers, think. If you show approval, I will get this underway. I would advertise thru Google, and I have an SEO expert that guarantees top 10 results or I don't pay. So let me know what you think.
