Hi

I just installed latest dtm on my new laptop (win 7 64bit) but when I plug my 9800 in to usb, it cannot find or install a driver. I checked device manager but get a yellow exclamation mark next to Blackberry.

works fine for me, make sure that you do not have your phone set to charge only so that it uses the internal drive on the phone to install the drivers.

if not drivers can be found under the support section of the blackberry.com website

I looked for drivers on bb website but cannot find them. Do you have a link?

There is a way to manually install the driver.
1. Go to Control Panel and open up device manager.
2. Find you BlackBerry device with the exclamation point
3. Right click on it and select Update driver software
4. This causes a new window to open up with two selections. Click on Browse my computer for driver software
5. Now click on "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
6. This brings up a list: Under manufacturer select RIM and select the one driver under model (I believe it is called RIM Virtual Serial Port or something like that)
7. Click next to install it
8. Repeat if there is more than one exclamation point

For some reason, the latest dtm isnt installing any driver. i just tried an 8520 and got the same problem. I have tried to manually install it but their isnt any drivers in any folders of the install folder etc.

I have tried absolutely everything to get this phone to connect, but failed where can I get an older version of dtm from. Thats all I can try
