- All, sorted, no idea how, but after several installs, changing folders, deleting registery entries it now seems to work
Heres the issue, BB 9700 and Desk top manager (on windows7, Dell XPS) has all worked well for several months.
Then last week PC had enough of a problem with w7 for me to conduct complete re-install of W7.
Now bold will not synchronize. It shows up on the PC, it shows in DTM software, it even allows me to backup and restore. It allows me to create a synchronization 'template' ..... BUT it will not perform the actual sync!
I have re-installed the desk top app, I have ensured I have all the latest usb drivers. I am not running any firewall yet. I have tried two cables. I have even wiped the blackberry.
I have wiped the phone, restored using DTM so I at least have contacts etc but it still will not sync with DTM.
Here are the symptoms:
9700 Connects via usb cable OK
Shows in connect area of DTM
Connecting windows pop up OK
BB screen shows connection icons
BUT thats it ... It doesnt actually sync!
Does anyone have any ideas please?
