    I am on Sprint and after upgrading to 5.0 from desktop manager prompt last week. The desktop manager version I'm on 5.0.1. I'm having trouble with the phone not being recognized as being connected. I've loaded and unloaded twice... but still does not recognize as being connected..Need help please

    does anone have an answer for this, im experiencing the same problem. PC detects BB with no problem DM does not detect. I have BB 9700 version 5.0.0.351 platform 5.1.0.98 and my dm is 5.0.1.18. The problem is only the 9700 is not detected by DM. When i tried other device it does recognize by DM. Thanks for the help.

    To those who still have a problem with their 9700. Fortunately I found a way. Just upgrade your DM to the latest version and it will be fine.

    I'm on sprint and upgraded my tour to 5.0 and my desktop sees my phone with no problem I just can't view my backups and would like to know how to do it

    My problem is slighly different but is related to the Tour 9630. I just upgraded to 5.0 (U.S. Cellular) and, of course, kept the device tethered as instructed but now every time I boot the Desktop Manager a pop-up window and message in the status bar says there is an upgrade to 5.0 which, of course, I already did! How do I get this annoying pop-up to disappear? BTW - I was very disappointed with the upgrade process but posted this in another thread.
