anyway, i am trying to make a backup and never had this problem before....

could it be i just need to install the desktop again?? if so what should i dl for the media manager etc???

It means that some of your databases are corrupt.

Go to the advanced backup screen in DM and backup one database at a time until you figure out which ones are corrupt. If you can't figure it out, just backup your contacts only from advanced and wipe your phone and reload.

hard rested everything, synced contacts, made backup.... on to ubertwitter now.....
