My BlackBerry Tour wont connect to my computer or to DM. I have tried re-installing DM and restarting my computer. I have tried re-booting my BlackBerry and have tried using all 4 USB ports and still nothing. Is there something else that I could try?

When you plug your device into the computer, does it charge? Will Windows recognize that it is plugged in?

Yes, it will charge, but it wont do anything else. No options pop up or anything. And when I open up DM it says to verifiy that my BlackBerry is connected and wont let me do anything at all.

I was about to say that there might be something wrong with USB cable itself, but you said that it will charge. so . . . !

Nevertheless, try to borrow your friends' USB Cable ( if they have a BB ) and see if your BB gets recognized using it .
