I was having problems with my wi-fi connections, so I washed my phone and flashed the latest OS from T-Mobile (V4.6.0.180). For the wash/flash procedure, I followed bmcclure937's advanced procedure.

Wi-fi works again, but now I don't have an icon on the desktop for SMS Text Messaging. Did I miss a component when I installed?

    Thanks

Maybe... Go into General Options on the Messaging app, and check your "SMS and Email Inboxes" setting. If it is "Combined", you won't have a separate SMS Icon.
