    ok every time i plug my phone in desktop manager says it's updating core applications and deleting blackberry maps which i don't even have installed on my phone then it reboots the phone before it will sync. anyone have ideas?

    I'm sure its a known issue and RIM will get to it this has been talked about a lot on here just hit cancel don't update that's what I do...
