    Ok guys,

    Shaun here, in Canada.
Before you read anymore, I am a BES Admin with 5 years of experience with BB's. I am starting to deploy users with tethering to 9000 models.

Problem I am having with the DM IP Modem function.
It is not there, not present.
I've un-installed and cleaned up the registry, cleaned up PF and All Users
Re-installed, still not in the main menu.

came across a forum to edit ip_modem_configuration.xml and all the settings for either Provider Bell or Rogers is marked as "True"

I've checked through all forums, called support, and cannot get help anywhere.

I have tried 3 different Desktop Manager softwares

    Version 5.0.1.28 - November 11 2009
    Version 5.0.1.35 - ...
    Version 5.0.1.37 - March 10 2010

I have three units to test with, 2 9000's and my 8900

    Help ...

    thanks

Have you confirmed that Bell supports IP Modem tethering through BlackBerry Desktop Manager?

yes both suppliers are offering tether service
I can use the software on another pc and it works fine

I need to find out what files are associated to this install to debug the problem.

I can take both blackberries and tether on my other laptop.

Bell or Rogers tech service teams cannot give me any info, they didn't even have the newest version installed on their demo laptops for support purposes.

    thanks

    Help !!!

Also, wanted to Add as well that I've re-installed the 56k interal modem drivers (as the service to tether uses it )
