I want to update to manager 6, but the file I get from RIM is a od file. How do I open it and how do I install it. It might sound dumb, but I have no clue what a od file is or how it works. Anyone any idears?

Something went wrong there. You should not have gotten an OD file. Delete what you downloaded and try again.

Found the problem. Blackberrys website thourt my pc was my phone. When I retyped the web address instead of using my links, it gave me a a exe file instead of a od file. Much better.
