Did you back up your data before you attempted to perform a major operation on the device such as upgrading the OS?

It deleted all my contacts in Entourage, but they are all fine on the device. Booting into Windows XP allowed me to sync everything to my PC partition. Only issue is that this requires me to boot and use Windows. But it may be my best solution.
