When I plug my phone into my computer via USB, I can access my phone the same way you access a memory stick: I can view the files and folder of my phone, so I could copy + paste media form the camera and music folders, or do whatever I please.

However, my desktop manager and desktop software absolutely refuse to recognize that my phone is plugged in. I've tried some of the basic trouble shooting it tells you to do in the program itself if your device is not being recognized, but I haven't had any luck. I believe I had this issue in the past before, but I can't remember if i got it fixed and if I did, I have no recollection of how I did it.

I have tried using window's device manager to uninstall the driver software and re-install, but it tells me it cannot find the driver software. I also have the desktop software disc in the computer right now too.

Well, problem some how miraculously fixed itself and it started working today, so nothing further is needed for help on this thread.

I'm having the same issue with my 9900 since updating Desktop Software to Version 7.1.0.37 a few days ago. USB access to the phone and media card works fine, but the Desktop software won't see the phone so I can't sync to Outlook.

Very frustrating, any suggestions would be appreciated.
