Just want to ask if you ever encountered this one. I'm trying to update my curve 9300 firmware using dekstop manager, when the update process is starting there's an error message "check your internet connection" i don't know why is like that when i have a good connection of my internet?. Any idea how to solve this error?, so that i can update my curve 9300 :-)
hmm i don't have a data plan for blackberry... I just updating using desktop manager. After the backup process then it says it will download the firmware and the error will comes out "Check Internet connection" file can't download.
Try this out, but make sure you back up the device 1st
Steps for backdoor reload in windows. (XP/Vista/7)
1) My computer
2) C: drive
3) Program files (X86)
4) Common files
5) RIM
6) App loader
7) There will be a small icon that looks like a phone, click that
Once in app loader:
1) In wizard, click next
2) Your pin should show on the next step in the little drop down menu
3) It'll show a list of apps in the software, just click next
4) It will ask you if you would like to back up and restore info during the process. click do not
5) On the next window click advanced, and make sure to delete all app data is Checked. (or make sure items are gray)
***if option for back comes up make sure back options are checked***
6) Press finish and the reload will start
Process should take about 1/2 hour to an hour
Already Solved my problem thanks guy's for the reply.. I've just re install desktop manager and also download and install the latest OS of 9300 curve :-)
