Hi there I have a win 7 laptop and iP modem was working fine on DM 5.0.1 until I updated the blackberry OS on my 8900. Now everytime I go to IP modem I get an error message saying, "unable to detect configured bb ip modem device. Please verify your desktop installation is configured correctly and restart desktop" the 8900 is connected and I'm able to sync fine, BIS works fine on 8900

Any suggestions?

Reinstall your DM version and choose repair when ask.

i had the same problem after updating my phone, and repairing DM gave me the back the 'ip modem' capability.
