I want to install a game on my bb without using desktop manager. I copied the files into a folder I created but when I look to "explore" I don't see the explore button after pressing the bullets. How can I find where my files are?

.jad is an over the air (OTA) download file. You can use the BB browser to browse to the link and download, or embed the link in an email and send it to your BB.

.alx needs something that accesses your BB memory.

I know that BBSAK will make JAD files from COD files. That's half the problem.

Then, it's getting them to your BB.
You can use a service like this to host them for free...

Or, I THINK there used to be a trick where you could load them from your SD card, but I've never done it.

.alx files are only for DM install. When you say install, did you just copy .cod files to your device memory?
