I recently received a Curve from my company, but because I am not a senior executive or an I.T. staffer, I am not permitted to use the BES so I use Blackberry Internet Services instead. My email syncs fine with BIS, but I've been told that BIS will not sync GroupWise calendars. I am wondering if this is true, and if so, can I sync the calendar using desktop manager or some other easy (not-so-technical) way? I've tried the desktop manager route and haven't been successful. I've installed and reinstalled the software that came with the Curve 8330. My old device would do the sync via desktop manager. I am pretty much ineffective without the calendar functionality. I can't find anything that says this is unsupported.
If you use the Outlook client with your Groupwise setup you can sync directly through Desktop Manager. There are many Groupwise users (myself included) who use Outlook.
