I am trying to use my 8330 with Windows 7 for the first time. I installed Desktop Manager 5.0 and every time I plug my 8330 in via USB I get the attached error. Is anyone else familiar with this and/or how to solve it?
What build of 7 are you using? I havent seen that error since the 65XX builds???? uninstall Dm and when you reinstall it right click on the install file and choose Run as Administrator. Then when it asks you where you want to install it Type in c:\ProgramData instead of Program files. and that should cure that issue for you. If that doesnt work then use this link to get the USB drivers from the MS Update Catalog.
