    Default DM 7.0 Apploader Crashing

    Apploader, from within DM 7.1.0.32, won't work with my 9930 running 7.1.0.580. Apploader gets as far as "Searching for available device software," and then DM 7.0 quietly and quickly exits with no error messages. When DM comes up again, with the device still connected, it doesn't prompt for the device password but accesses other DM app sections normally. Has anyone found a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance.

    Have you uninstalled it, rebooted and reinstalled it?

    No. I don't have a full day to kill with this, and that's the minimum the computer and device would be out of commission.

    ? I'm pretty sure he meant desktop manager, should only take a sort while to uninstall dtm, also uninstall the device drivers on the pc then re install.

    I know what he meant. The uninstall and reinstall doesn't take long, but it also requires a sync, manual backup, then over-writing all device data followed by another sync. That's way too much to do with a laptop that only has about 3 hours battery. I've been 11 days without electric service and no clue when I'll get it back.
