The new Desktop Manager refused to Sync my Outlook or allow me to configure my settings.

Every time I try, I was getting an non-descriptive error message.

The solution is simple, shut down Outlook, then configure the setting.

Once the setting are in place, it will Sync correctly with Outlook running.

I am having a couple of problems with syncing but this did not work for me. I have the Curve 8330, Outlook 2007, Windows Vista, DM v6.0.0.40. I used to be able to sync with no problem, then I upgraded DM. I would like to be able to control when the sync process occurs, NOT automatically when DM opens. Also, I get error code 0x8004fd28 when it is trying to sync the Calendar. Any ideas on these 2 questions?

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try this again.

Well, I tried again. I closed Outlook and reconfigured settings, ... this time it did sync. However, it did not save the change I made to NOT sync or backup at start up. Any other ideas are welcomed.

And in a shocking development, it didn't work.
