It doesn't. There is PocketMac and MissingSync available for mac. Though neither are a complete solution.

You can use PocketMac which is free or MissingSync which is not free.

However, the best way to add ringtones etc is either OTA or by enabling Mass Storage Mode on the BB. Then your BB shows up as a separate drive when you connect it to your Mac and you and drag and drop the files to it.
