Hello I am using Desktop Manager for Mac Version 1.0.3 Build 19 I just plugged my phone in and tried to update the 9700 software version. However it tells me that I need to update my desktop version before being able to update the phones software, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software about a dozen times and keep getting the same response, any ideas??

Did you try the dm update feature?

Do the update rather than uninstall/reinstall, or download the latest version from RIM.
