Ok, so this is what I see when I open up Desktop Manager, even if my BlackBerry is hooked up to my computer. Is this normal? Why would it say "disabled"? Any help is appreciated, I love using my 9800, but rarely even hook it up to my computer unless I'm adding music files to my 9800.

Not normal. As long as your phone is working I would try to uninstall desktop manager and redownload and install it from the blackberry website. Then hook your blackberry back up to the computer and backup the phone.

Ok, I'll try that. I think that's the Desktop Manager that was installed when I had my 8100. I'll see about uninstalling. Thanks.

I believe Desktop Manager 6 is required with the Torch. You definitely need to unintall the current verion and replace it.

That's a really old version of DM which is probably not compatible with OS 6, download DM v6 and all should be well...
